King’s Way Youth Lacrosse Club Grades 1st through 8th
King’s Way Lacrosse Club is a non-profit organization whose goal is to provide Southwest Washington youth the opportunity to learn and play the fastest growing sport in the country. We are an all volunteer run club that is fortunate to have King’s Way Christian Schools as our sponsor. They are an integral part of our club with their support, providing insurance, field space and equipment. We are the longest running youth lacrosse club in Southwest Washington, established in 2004, and are open to youth players, grades 1st through 8th from all Southwest Washington Schools. New players, as well as experienced players, are invited to register at all age groups. King’s Way Lacrosse is passionate about growing the game of lacrosse and developing our youth’s skills through an instructional, fun, safe, and positive learning environment.
Our club has one of the most talented instructional and developmental coaches in the area, Josh Peck! Josh was awarded a scholarship to attend The Johns Hopkins University to pursue his academic interests while competing at the highest level of college lacrosse. He graduated from Hopkins with a BA in economics. During his four years at Hopkins he was a part of two national championship appearances, winning one title in 2007. Josh was selected to represent his team as captain for the 2009 season. At the conclusion of his Hopkins lacrosse career, he was awarded the Turnbull-Reynolds Award for exemplifying the highest tradition of team play, work ethic, and leadership. Josh not only brings to our club all his experiences and accolades, but is currently our program coordinator. He works with both the coaches and players to see the sport, that he is so passionate about, grow in this area.
